One of the most over rated midfielders of the last 10 years.

Was good but can often did fuck in PSGs biggest games and not been great for Italy either. Decent in Euros but nothing special really.

Has some games looks like next Xavi then next vanishes.

Had a ton of ability.

Was thinking the same, he either was injuried or got red carded when PSG needed him the most so many times, outside of winning the Euros with Italy, he has achieved very little.

Him going to Qatar while barely over 30 is a very fitting end.

Ruined his career the moment he went to PSG. Could have become a legend in Italy or been a leading EPL midfielder for years.

Overared maybe but still was no. 1 when fit and on his day (pretty rare occasion indeed).
should have avoided that plastic club. a shame really.

This guy had the talent and ability of an all timer.

Absolutely immaculate in tight spaces and arguably the most press resistant player you'll ever see.

His technique, close control and dribbling ability is right up there with the greats.

King of the eye test. Shouldn't have spent his peak in the Uber Eats League.

He should have retired as one of the greatest midfielders in history based on his natural ability. So disappointing.

He will be forgotten when he retires. Must be one of the players with highest ability to make almost no mark on world football during his career, no real legacy. He was just there.
