He did nothing on ball the whole game or the 2nd half and was awful as soon as Alaves pressed high at end.

He is good enough as he proved it last season.
He had been underwhelming and second season pressure and expectations weigh more heavily on players.
There is noone better to fill in midfield anyway. Just like there is no better than Martin or whoever to cover.
Barca are broke and people need to temper their expectations of players that played D tier leagues few seasons ago.

Its easier than that.
Bernal is better than him and if all fit there are four better players in the one position he can play.
Even Eric is better than him in there if not in defence.
Now Olmo is starting to play deeper.. and is also better in there.
Just cant see what future he has.
Dont think there will be the market for him many think.
The EPL teams buying a player as small as that without the technique to make up for it? Cant see it.
On Tommy.. if not good enough then he is another one they need to loan out asap an see if can kick on at higher level.

Araujo could be made to look world class on a cherry picked video.
Set up Alaves goal and had ONE progressive pass all game v them.
Quite hard to actually achieve that low a level for Barca v a team like Alaves.
