That Inter match sticks in my mind.
The team played well, Inter was not some poor team but they cracked and they were carried by reffs. Well will change the refs especially since we managed to score 2 goals. ( the correct score should have been 2-2 in the first leg and 2-0 in the second)
Against Chelsea they just defend like heroes and that was a frustrating game in terms of football since Messi missed a penalty and the consequences were just crippling.
We never recovered after that. Pep was right and I was just furious how Rosel chose fucking Pique and Alves vs Pep.
Pep would have changed the core by 2016 so no humiliations

Yes, and that year the final was on the Bernaleo. Would have been the most epic CL win. The meltdown in Madrid would have been huge. Fucking volcano.
Well someone paid those refs big money. 2 games, all mistakes against Barcelona followed by a huge mediatic campaign against Busquets to cover the crime.
I don't know if Real or Inter but it was just insane.

2009/10 Barcelona-Inter 1-0

(to referees)
You watched this games you talk about?
Anyway, Barcelona - Chelsea 2012 I would change and probably Barca - Real from 2002.
Dude in the Inter game we literally had 4 good chances:
1)Pique goal
2)Bojan correctly disallowed goal
3)Bojan missed header
4)Messi run and curl-shot

That‘s it. A lot had to do with great defense (maybe allowed by the refs) and with Ibra fucking up the link-up play big time.

In 2012 vs. Chelsea we lost a lot more chances.

In the past I would’ve said Liverpool 2019 but honestly outside of the Pep ones. I would choose Atletico 2016 any day of the week, that 2015-16 team was too good to lose like that. We were definitely the best team in Europe that season and a rough patch of form in April won’t change that.

First half: Barca

Second half: Bayern

The Bayern which Pep created inn 15/16 was insane, Douglas Costa was unstoppable

Somehow Atletico managed to beat Barca and Bayern in CL, in Munich Bayern had completely outplayed Atletico but they were icecold, fantastic goal from Griezmann @Birdy correct me if im wrong Birdy!

Barca started slowly in 15/16 and i remember the big loss vs Celta but then became better and better, some people said that Barca was even stronger than in 14/15 but i think the main mistake was not enough rotation, always the same 11 and in the important matches in 2016 Barca looked tired
