He's consistent and hardworking but his ceiling isn't as high as Palmer.

Palmer on his best day can beat a Spain with his magic. Saka can't.

World Cup needs players like Pogba who aren't the most consistent but can win games in big tournaments singlehandedly.

@soul24rage

I agree Palmer is the better player overall. But Saka is still an 8 out of 10 player. He just isn't as flashy as some other top players in his position.

Saka shouldn't start. Been bang average this season. Nowhere near Palmer in terms of actual ability to win games. One of the most overrated players around and fragile mentally.
Saka has had some big moments for England. He's also basically flawless off the ball, which managers love. I think Saka and Gordon will the bet the starters for England, and Palmer/Madueke and Rashford will be the finishers.

Saka will play would think.

Need 1v1 players.

Palmer on right was almost like a free role to go where pleased and doube England play him there and another AM.

Would then defintiely need a 1v1 plater on left as Kane doesnt have that either.

Clear cut to me that Saka starts.

Pickford

James
Stones
Konsa
O'Reilly

Anderson
Rice

Eze

Saka
Rashford

Kane

9 subs: Henderson, Guehi, Livramento, Wharton, Rogers, Bellingham, Palmer, Madueke, Gordon

If everyone is fit and the WC is starting tomorrow, that would be my team. A lot of people will start Guehi but I just think Konsa is more well rounded and criminally under-rated.

He's quality these days if you actually watch Everton sometimes. He's the biggest reason they are still a Premier League team. Also he's never once let England down.

He's not Manuel Neuer or Alisson but most keepers aren't. He was a bit dodgy back in the day, sure, but has matured a lot over the last 3 or 4 years.

You have to be mentally insane to willingly watch Everton unless you're a fan of them or a particular player there

Don’t forget big Danny Welbeck as the Kane back up!

But by the Konsa comment, I know you’re a man that understands football.

I watch them whenever they're on Sky and play a decent team.

I genuinely don't think there any many better keepers in the PL right now. Donnaruma, Alisson and maybe Raya are the only ones that spring to mind.
