I think they just set-up in an unbalanced way to maximise one particular player. If not Mbappe they'll switch to Vinicius or Bellingham.

True, but they also have some stars they can carry this role. Unbalanced side, running a mediocre midfield, not much else on the table but run it through Mbappe.
