9 - Robert Lewandowski

Whether you like him at Barca or not, the man would have scored goals in any team, in any league in the world.

The idea he should be downplayed because he played in the Buli the majority of his career, which is admittedly the easiest major league to score goals in, is not fair on him at all. He would have destroyed the Prem too, and I've no doubt he'd still score plenty there even now at 38.

Some dudes just have goals in their DNA, and he is one of them.

I don't downplay his goalscoring abilities, it's other parts of his game (most of them understandable due to age though) and high wages (which we should obviously blame Lieporta/Alemany and not Lewa for; nobody in his right mind would turn down high wages if offered) that I have problems with.

Sometimes I wonder how different things would be in alternate universe (one thing I'm sure of is that 8-2 wouldn't happened) if we would push out Suarez in 2018 or 2019 when he started to show signs of decline in his overall game although he still banged goals and brought Lewa (instead of Griezmann who I've always liked but he just wasn't a fit for a team built around Messi) at that time. He would have fun playing alongside Messi and Leo would have someone who could still move instead of his crippled walking amigo alongside him.

Funny thing with all those different statistical categories. It takes quite an imagination to make some of them up.
That's all right.

I think Robert is also the best ever scorer on the Globe among players without tattoos.

Ronaldo has no tattoos either (?)
The two have the same excellent work ethics and business accumen. The two always spoke about each other with high regard. Albeit different kind of players, they display the same traits of general success in life.

RL is not allured by the shiek petro money to play the game on the Desert. That's revealing about him and his wife. She's class too. Beautiful. Eloquent. Good genes. Their daughters will be princess. Even casually, she speaks beautiful Polish. Better than Robert with regard to that....he doesn't sound dumb but his speech skills are a little subpar. Maybe that can be improved with time.
All right, enough of sugar coating. I tell you what, though, as soon as he leaves this club, and preferably call it the end, I'll be relieved as most of you will be. I don't think it is necessary to dilute otherwise excellent career with some dounting challenges like playing in Serie A. I never thought Zlatan did good after he came back to Milan or for that matter Ribbery trying to revive his career at Fiorentina.
Wouldn't mind him having fun at MLS though

He'll absolutely cook in the Serie A and he's way better and fitter than Zlatan
