Madrid is leading LaLiga with 5 points after the clasico. Barcelona can't allow them to increase the lead.

With Lewandowski rejoining the team training on Monday, 4 key players remain injured (Garcia, Gavi, Raphinha, Olmo). Pedri can't participate due to his red card. Flick on the other hand will sit on the bench again after his 1 game ban.

Elche had a decent start into this LaLiga season, but couldn't win in the last 3 games. They are currently 8th without an away win yet. They've lost 2 out of 5 away games against Alaves and Espanyol, 3 draws against Atletico, Sevilla and Osasuna.

Would give Flick a carte blanche to whip the team in order. Don't care if Lamine sits out a month until he's fit. Or play youngsters instead of anyone who seems un-motivated.

At this point not a lot of interest in this season, especially with RM not dropping many points.

A clear downward development on the pitch from last year and players getting injured left and right. Perhaps we can rely on the hope that the biggest flop team in first half of the season can go on to win CL, like PSG last season and RM countless times.

I still have hopes to end the season with at least one big title. Our situation at the moment feels like we have a super sportscar, that can't leave the repair shop because something always breaks down, but you know once the car is good to go, you'll overtake the others.
You can't fix the physical problems over night, I said it a couple of times already, Flick has time until the end of December to fix this problem. If he manages it, we'll win titles this season again.
