"Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2026, and no decisions have been made yet," Zahavi told 365Scores, as quoted by Sport.

"We have to wait and see what happens in the coming days. There is nothing official regarding negotiations with Saudi Arabian teams. There are no offers at this time."

Turkish giants Fenerbahce have also been credited with an interest in the former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich striker, who would reportedly be offered a two-year deal with a lucrative wage should he choose to move to the Super Lig

The Poland international boasts a stellar total of 105 goals and 20 assists in 156 appearances for Barcelona since his 2022 arrival, winning two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and one Supercopa de Espana with La Blaugrana.

125 contributions in 156 is amazing for his age.

It'll depend on his form this season. If he picks up a good form and shows he still can be important, I can imagine the club will be willing to offer him one year extension with a considerably lower salary, since good strikers don't grow on trees and we'll still have to deal with ffp. If he continues with the current form, he'll obviously leave in the summer.

He'll want to be a starter though.

He's already not a clear starter anymore and his family loves the life in Barcelona, so if he's given the chance to stay one more year in the city, I very much doubt his starter ambition will be a hinderence. Especially because in today's calender you need 20 players over the season anyways.

But it also depends on how much longer he wants to play football of course. If he wants at least another 2 year contract, he'll leave. But the most important part of it all is him finding a decent form again, otherwise it's all meaningless.

Well, that's that then. All these injuries and muscle fatigues at the moment can't be a coincidence. The pre-season/gym training was clearly too hard and we see now the results. This can't be happening after such a long summer break and enough time to recover. Fitness team clearly fucked up here. Wanted maybe too much improvement.

We would see a lot of running and pressing until the body injures itself if the training in the summer was too hard and that was not the case. We saw less running and pressing then ever under Flick.

Us fans overestimate how much training affects the injuries, it's mostly genetics and luck.
