@Rassvet Your reasoning behind United>Barca?
I'm curious because there is many ways you can compare the size of two clubs. Different methods and opinions of course. But I'm not quite sure there is a single way you can have United as the bigger team
Head to head, no need to discuss. Destroyed in 2 CL finals
History? Barça has more trophies. Barça has a much richer all time squad. There's at least 5 ex Barça players who would have a case to be greatest in Man Utd history. The stadium, both clubs are rich in this metric
Then what else? Popularity? "Reach" as some like to call it? I think that every living fan of football and even the most casual follower who doesn't watch it but hears stuff here and there knows both Barcelona and Manchester United. Even people who maybe have nothing to do with football. Because both clubs are a part of everyday culture. Being the home of many inspirational footballers such as Ronaldinho and Messi, Barça is most certainly not alien to people around the globe
People who speak of this "reach" and popularity mostly use their environment bias. There are certain parts of the world where EPL clubs are more recognized, for example Nigeria. And there are parts of the world where Barça and Madrid are the centre of football. I'd say North Africa, a good deal of Europe and Latin American countries. This is a thing of culture and historically built traditions. I know in Montenegro Serie A is very recognized and followed even now just because everybody used to watch Savicevic back then for Milan. It's like that everywhere in the world. But overall all these big clubs have similar "reach" because everybody knows about them
