He looks the part and can be really good, but I wonder if City/Pep will be able to get the best out of him.

De Bruyne might be the only player City have that can see the runs he makes and play that pass. Bernardo, Foden and the other midfielders they have are seemingly blind.

Years of side pass conditioning and modern football have stripped these players of every ounce of creativity and vision.

Pep fault
True.
This is actually the reason I don't like this type of football anymore. He took out the fun in it.
During his time at Barca, it was new, it was dynamic. Players had freedom, plus we had the best midfielders to play it. It was fun.
But then, he made it robotic. Drab.

Fuck that baldy fucker.

What happened to this guy? Pep is not playing him

Could be a solid option for us in the summer (or even winter lol)

Atletico has good experience with strikers in Haaland's shadow

He's not the kind of player that thrives in modern Football. His preferred position is dead in modern Football. And in the other positions which top teams play, there are better options naturally.

Same as Felix.

Would be better 15 years back.

I don't know man he was good at Frankfurt. All depends on the price. But Pep has Haaland and seemingly gave up on this guy, so wouldn't demand that much

But this is the kind of players we can be after. Those we know posses great ability but their stocks are low. Plenty of those in the PL

Ofcourse he was great at Frankfurt.

Because he played in his preferred position as a second striker alongside another striker Ekitike.

That's the point.
