I guess we'll know when it comes to that. Why do people discuss these things, when they don't believe official information anyways? Then just wait for your "I told you so". Same as with the delay fees, or does anybody have access to Barca's accounts or the contract with Limak to see, if Limak is really at fault for these delays and if they're paying for it or not?
Baseless riling up again, despite all you have to do is to wait and see.

Prices after the flu pandemic went down in construction. My company initiated this construction project in late 2021 estimated at 300k euros and when finished the final cost in spring of 2023 was 450k.

Operational costs skyrocketed due to Russian oil embargo during that period. Not to mention the price of fertilizers, which have doubled since Ukraine invasion.

I was involved with big steel company before, during and after plandemic. Prices fell and then were volatile as some companies were buying frantically believing supply will vanish due to safety protocols, closure of production and transport uncertainty while they had projects to finish.

Prices of production then risen as everything did due to massive printing of money and obvious rise of energy due to suicidal sanctions Europe enforced on Russia. And yeah fertilizes too are one big example. Construction sector boomed as capital was losing value in banks. It's a typical story, particularly here in Balkans as you know it.

"Invasion" story is a spin. We could go into start of the coup and then 2014 when war actually started in Donbas.

Inflation is massively due to reckless printing of money and sanctions against Russia made it even worse for Europe.

We all know Limark is not paying for the delays (was just another Laports lie) and final price of the stadium will be bigger than reported. Some are still clinging to the latter though.

They'll blame Putin when realization comes as we already see.

Spin or no spin, the war in Ukraine is a factor in European economy and denying it is simply ignorant comment. You can blame any side, it's off-topic anyway in this thread.

To bring back the conversation to the main point - unfortunately I think Camp Nou will go over budget, but not drastically as Real Madrid did, because they planned their rebuild way back before all the global problems started.

Feels like you dont even read the posts. I said the war is a factor as Europe enforced suicidal sanctions on Russia. War in itself would not be such a big factor.
It's a lazy spin to call it "because of invasion". Printing money during plandemic and Europe denying itself from cheap energy are factors.
But Putin...

Printing money causes inflation inside a given country, but it doesn't affect global trade prices.

Yeah man, sure. Tell that to Americans and pretty much most countries in the world that buy dollars.
Also, what given country in Europe? You do realize Euro currency from the European central bank dominates the continent?

The fact that we can generate around a billion Euros in revenue playing at Montjuic is incredible.

Things are never linear, but just as a rough estimate, we will average at least 81,000 fans at the Nou Camp Nou, infact it will probably be around the 88 - 90k mark.

I've used 81k because it is exactly 3 times the 27,000 figure quoted as generating the same revenue as a full Montjuic. So, potentially we will increase match day revenue 3 fold when the new stadium is fully open for business. That is extraordinary.

I'm not sure how big a percentage match day revenues are as a total of all our revenues, but match day revenues are the main source of income for a football club.

So just, as a conservative estimate, our yearly revenues should increase to at least 1.5 billion and potentially much more in our new stadium. For the record, Madrid's yearly revenue in the first year of their new stadium was a mere 1.185 billion, which is a record.

In short,

If Madrid did Laporta tier accounting, the accounts would show 2B revenue.

The only way Barca reaches 1.5B is by selling Yamal perpetually to QSG for 600M+.

Also, a mere 1.2B revenue. A mere. Dear Lord Almighty!

What did Barca do that Madrid doesn't exactly?
