TF is he on about? Flick always needs a classic number 9 in his system. He never plays a false 9 system.

Pretty much every single successful season we have ever had has come from having a #9 in the team

And most of our successful seasons that had a no9 was also by having one if the best no9 of the generation. Like Lewa, Eto & Suarez

And none of those were "scouted" signings. They were all super stars. Can Barca afford that under current reality?

Yes, Erling Braut Haaland is coming to Barca.

Just need Man City do be severely punished in that 115 charges case.......they won't though.

Can't afford them, but also have to keep in mind there are not superstars available.

Haaland, Mbappe, Isak and Alvarez are probably the one 'superstar' players in that position and Barca ain't signing any of them. And players like Isak and Alvarez would have been a pick of the bunch in the previous generation of strikers. from 2010-2020. Slim pickings these days.

Barca was definitely interested in the likes of Isak (at Sociedad) and Alvarez before he joined City. Yeah Vitor Roque was a complete failure but the strategy to sign a talented young striker was correct. Should continue with that approach.

Looks like one of those that Palace, Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth will buy from the Belgian league in a year or two.
