This season is over. I've seen enough. Every other year cycle it is.

Xavi wins league
Xavi awful season gets fired
Flick wins league
Flick awful season probably leaves

What happened in the awful seasons? Tons of injuries. Disjointed team.

What happens on the good seasons? We have a well oiled machine that stomps everyone in the league and most importantly low amount of injuries.

Also, last season RM lost about half their squad injuries this year they are mostly healthy.

Its a cycle its very hard to stay healthy. Its very hard to have a deep squad. Its very hard not to get figured out when you are a big club.

Public holiday. I slept and didn't watch the match. Woke up and.......wtf.
I just saw the highlights, and it was the same old.
Unless the pressing is on point, everything goes to shit
It is crazy how thin this squad is. We need 2 FB,a cb,a dm, and a cf minimum. In today's market, that's a minimum of 300 million. We can't even register players. Forget buying them.
We paid 65 million for that dud Olmo.
I think a lot of us have to embrace reality and face the fact that in the foreseeable future we are going to be an inconsistent club. There won't be a regular inflow of trophies like we were used to. Instead, it will be a European trophy once every 7 to 8 years and a liga once every 3 years.
There was a time when we could go out and restructure the squad in a big way. It's not happening anymore.
Unless the club sorts out its finances, this will be our situation.
Football is about having a plan, getting the right players for the right prices, and hoping they gell.
We also need to restructure La Masia. I want to see a more modern, physical approach. I'm tired of seeing these Dro Fernandez types. It's as if physicality is frowned upon in this club.

Completely disagree. Recruitment choices and manager selection have hurt us way more than finances. Masia doesn't need modernized, Barca just needs to focus on Masia principles.

You sure you're following the same club as I am? It's been more than a decade since our last European cup. Messi era/Pep era was the exception, not the rule. I will gladly take even 1 CL with this era of Barca footballers

An European trophy every 7-8 years is an incredible return.

A cold shower was probably needed. We are not as great as it was advertised and last season was probably just an overachievement, favored by a kind CL path and a Madrid in turmoil in the league.

2 "easy" games coming up, lets win them and regroup before Madrid. We should win both even with those that played today. And after Madrid we have 2 more easy games so there is time for some of our injured players to come back. Madrid is the key though, no surprise.

I'm not referring to CL, I'm just referring to any European trophy. If we are going to achieve any success in Europe, it's gonna be Europa or Conference.

The team is not bad, but it needs a complete defensive overhaul.

-Kounde, Martin, Balde are all average fullbacks at best. Only Balde has pace while the other two are slow as trash and none of these players excel offensively or defensively. What kind of club has a selection of fullbacks who are slow and offer don't excel offensively or defensively? Just asking for trouble.

-Araujo - the biggest moron I've seen in our defence and that's quite an achievement when you have guys like Clement Lenglet or Yerry Mina who have played for this club.

-Cubarsi - Nowhere near good enough to be a starter despirte being very talented. Should be 4th choice.

-Eric - Only defender who is useful at the moment.

-Chirstensen - Club doesn't rely on him and I think injuries have done him in.

Would keep Eric, Cubarsi and Balde while the rest can be thrown in the dumpster where they belong.

A Madrid who only lost to us by a point even though we dominated them. We better hope we continue beating them. Because they are in a similar boat of being terrible this year.

Its not a doom and gloom as most are making out this too be. We are having a bad spell with injuries, while few players are playing Ass cheeks.
Most of us predicted that going into the season that not reinforcing the backline, be it a LB or CB, while also losing Inigo, would result in worse defensive performance than last season. We essentially have Xavi's squad, but with a backline that has regressed. And our CF is a 2 years older.
Come a few weeks, and we'll have Fermin, Raphinha, Yamal back.

Bench Olmo, Lewa & Ferran. I don't want them starting any matches for the rest of the season.
Our midfield is not a shit anymore. No more pussy players there.

Somehow, try to rest Pedri.

And we are golden.
