It hurts to have a midfielder like Gavi injured.

He could have easily slot in two of those 3 slots. He would have been a better player to field in the last game, instead of Olmo.
At this moment, we are lacking depth in the CM position.

I'm sure many clubs are lining up for an extremely injury prone player who isn't good even those few months per year when he's healthy. Not everybody has Deco as their sporting director...

Olmo was a club obssesion (like Cesc back in the days), he would be signed regardless of who was a SD or coach.

It's true, I'll give you that. It's not on Deco, signing Olmo was more about Catalan nonsense politics. But still, nobody will buy Olmo.
