#9, particularly in one striker system, is probably most scrutinized position you can play in. We've been kinda spoiled since Eto'o, Suarez, Messi (obviously). And even then I can remember many criticising Suarez.

But yeah there were also Sonny Anderson, Patrick Kluivert, Saviola, Ibrahimovic. And while Kluivert wasn't exactly a flop, he wasn't a top performer. Kept him for way too long.

I do appreciate Lewa's goals but his overall play is sub-standard. Below what I expect for a Barca player.

Tbh I did not expect him to keep this level for 3 full seasons with us and counting, going into his 4th and still scoring deciding goals. Insane for a 37 year old. I thought he'll have 2 good seasons, and we'll struggle to offload his wages after that.

I kind of underrated him.

Wont be a nightmare to replace him and wasnt last season.

Won more and scored more in games he missed and that with more injuries.

Same with Xavis league win. Won every game he wasnt playing.

Comes in for half an hour and can't press. Frankie goes on to sprint to press their GK while Lewa is saving himself in that usual setup where he sits deep with opposition DM.

People will blame him for everything :lol: :lol:

Barca couldn't create any good attacking scenario for him.

PSG were already dominating before he entered.

Blame the coach for being outclassed.

He got like 15 minutes at the end.
