More like prime Maicon.. technique and explosion and constant flank threat. Alves was more of a tiki taka intelligent fullback who has the mind of a midfielder.

Barca need full backs with better quality on ball.
Its been said for years.
Balde hopefully can improve on it but Kounde is just stiff and makes big fuck ups every game on ball.
Barca could barely play ball out under pressure today as full backs are so limited.

Fantastic game, that should have ended with a red card. After the first yellow, Nuno used his hands on Lamine again several times. That foul, which clearly prevented Lamine from positioning himself for a good shot, should have been the breaking point and an instant 2nd yellow
First goal is his work. But we have to ask ourselves how it was allowed for a player to just run 50-60m like the pitch is empty, get to the goal and assist. It's stuff you see in amateur football and playing with the boys, not big UCL games. No matter how strong or powerful or fast the player is. When a player like him is making those runs and there is no signs he will stop you take him down at all costs. But maybe we have no players who understand this kinda stuff in our team.
