Hurry home mister pls.

Interesting article in El Mundo where he said what makes his Midfield special is the Midfield rotations and said that's what made the OG Barca Midfield special, they all fell comfortable in whatever position they found themselves in.

I miss that soooooo much.

A few things could have been lost in translation but roughly what he said.

His entire team is extremely fluid, mobile and energetic.

The rotations aren't just limited to his midfield but also his forwards and full backs.

It's an absolute nightmare tactically because it's tough to be prepared against these rotations.

It's an iteration of Total Football but it's even more fluid and free flowing than Prime Barca because the front 6 is just popping up everywhere possible.

It's the opposite of a static tactical system.

Add to that, the brilliant chemistry and well coached patterns of play all over the park.

Well said, which is why I said missing the front three will have a knock-on effect on the entire team, because they really do rotate the front six, less so with Doué, but he tries, but can't drop back in midfield the way the other two can, and is why Barcola is no longer a starter; he isn't too much of a pure winger for what Lucho is trying to do.

This PSG without any injuries wouldn't beat Prime Barca who were superior in every facet so didn't need to go 'out of position' as often. No one had to work less than Prime Barca to dominate.

Does anyone think Lucho can replicate his PSG success here??
Personally, I doubt it. The full backs he currently has are impossible to find or duplicate. It's almost as if Hakimi and Mendes are 4 players instead of 2. That's just for starters. He has immense squad depth and an unlimited transfer budget. That's not happening here. Once he sees the issues we have up close he would turn into Grumpy Lucho again.

PSG struggled first half last season and spent 70m on Kvara.

This summer they sat back and said Berardo is a liability if he has to play, and spent 70m on Zabarnyi.

Then Donnarumma wanted a wage rise, got punted and 40m on Chevalier.

Lucho doesn't have that moneyball here and would have to rely on making LaMasia work. Which is the world's best academy currently, but lacks physically in pro ball. And that's the main thing PSG buy.

So yeah, LE would do great coz he's LE, but he needs cash spent more so than Flick has succeeded with.
