Seema to me you massively hate Laporta.

Seems to me you hated Dembele and got it totally wrong on him.

Laporta fucked it up by running his mouth.

Then as often tried to bully player in media.

The agent ran rings round them.

If I agree with Laporta will say it as seen on sacking Xavi etc or signings etc. Have agreed and disagreed with plenty. For keeping with previous boards plans for stadium etc.

Him and agent wanted big payday. He wasn't worth the risk at the time, considering the situation the club was in.

Lies... they had agreed contract previously which went back on due to Laporta lies.

Barca gave bigger pay day to likes of Lewa hat same summer did renew anyway so that excuse runs thin.

They gave Gundogan more per season than Dembele gets at PSG.

You really think some player decides his whole future based on such mundane things like a president's PR talk?

Situation was far more pragmatic and money oriented than that ffs.

He wanted top money and the club didn't play ball. For two main reasons.

Bad finances made it extra risky when we wanted to avoid that.

Club didn't rate him as being worth such risk.

Yes absolutely. Trusting the club plays a huge part in it.

If the board feed you lies to accept less money and position in team is then contradicted by actions yes absolutely.

They then tried to bully him and turn fans against him.

His agent has spoken about it.

He ran rings round them once they tried it.

Talk matters in relationships.. Xavi got sacked for it. Plenty of players have left clubs due to lack of trust and vision of roles etc.

PSG played a better game than us vs inter, a much more mature game.

But in no form, shape or way was dembele better than yamal vs inter.

Only thing that game showed was that Enrique was a better coach than Flick last season.
Enrique was already a year or more (?) into his PSG stint last season while Flick had just arrived.

Entirely different phases of their respective projects last season.

Ah yes, the old "goal and assist are all that matter". Yet Yamal was the best player across two legs vs Inter. He drove the team forward and it was only the defense that let him down.

And you don't even care for Barca's domestic success. Winning all trophies against Real Madrid must be less impressive than Qsg winning Ligue 1 agaisnt Nante for you.

I'm sure Yamal was the highest rated player in Europe last season, by stats (Whoscored for example). So no need to bring number to discredit Yamal's effort.
The discussion was on decisiveness in top games

I wasn't discounting Yamal's impact but trying to talk more about decisiveness in the sport. If Messi dribbled without putting the ball in the net or assisting, and Barca lost all their UCL semifinals, and Argentina also lost theirs, I don't think people would say Messi was the most decisive for those seasons.

So when a neutral person checks the stats below, it would be clear that Dumfries was more decisive in the 2 legs (He scored 2 goals with 2 shots, Yamal was the better player, but Dumfries was definitely more decisive). I think Mbappe echoed similar opinions that you have to win the strong trophies to have a higher chance of winning the Ballon Dor

Yamal = 20 successful dribbles, 3 key passes, 17 shots, and 1 goal with zero assists across 2 legs against Inter
Dumfries = 4 successful dribbles, 5 key passes, 2 shots, 2 goals, and 3 assists across 2 legs against Barca

Dembele = 0 dribbles, 4 shots, 3 key passes, 0 goals and 2 assists in one game against Inter
