Needless to say that Araujo needs to start this game.
We are gonna concede a lot from headers alone with Cubarsi being the tallest

Physical tall team in a very hostile and fiery atmosphere.

This is usually our undoing.

We here tho.

Also won in Bernabeu and away to Atletico x2 last season.

That is up there with most for physical and hostile atmosphere.

Barca have as good a midfield as any to calm a game down and take control of it.

Could go either way.

Excited CL is back. Good thing about the new format is that the CL season starts earlier.

Newcastle away is a really good game for us. Should test us against a decent team early, expose the young team to hostile English conditions and atmosphere. And yet it's not a big name match up so if we lose there isn't a shadow hanging over the team and not is this a do or die.

How exactly can Newcastle spam crosses? They will not do much positional attacking. I am more worried about their quick counters than them having much possession control in the match. Gordon especially is quick and very intense. Can make our life very difficult.

We have to make sure we don't make stupid fouls around the box and defensive blunders, giving them free chances. Also, missed passes in our half are clearly must avoid.

Obviously hard game, but very winable. The game is especially trickier because it is away, and they make good atmosphere there. Best teams in EPL rarelly win there or if they do it is with a lot of luck.

Our midfield can win us this match imo. It is the one area of the pitch where we are clearly superior now with Yamal out.

We will loose this one, they are scrappy as hell at home and will bully us around. Frenkie and Yamal will be sorely missed. Their ground is no joke and the ref will need to be strong which he wont be. If we can keep possession and not be intimidated by their playing style we have a chance, but with Ferran, Rashford, Olmo I dont see that happening..

Newcastle is a new team for us and it's kind of hard to predict. But the way some talk here it's as if we're playing a bigger team, not even sure Arsenal or Liverpool away would scare some people this way and they are better than Newcastle.

I don't doubt Flick and the squad will be going for a win. It won't be easy but we are favourites here. Just make sure Raphinha puts on his CL shoes from last season.

It's the first english team in general for us under Flick's leadership. Will be interesting to see how we do against their kick&rush under Flick. They'll probably try to feed Woltemade with high and through balls to use his pace and height. If we can stop these balls, we should be in a good position.

Clearly superior? With Casado and Fermin? We are playing three ponies against three physical superior players in Tonali, Joelinton and Bruno.

Will be a good game. Newcastle can be this editions Aston Villa, and we all saw the trouble they gave big sides on away nights.

If we go into this with Eric-Cubarsi then we will suffer alot. Eric is Eric and Cubarsi hasn't been great form for a while.

Still it's Flick, and while Flick is suicidal, only he could go to an away day with a Gerard Martin-Cubarsi-Eric-Kounde backline, no Lamine and still have me confident.

The way people are talking about Newcastle, you can clearly tell they have never watched their games.

Are they a truly great team? Definitely not. They're just a top 5 team in the league.

But they're tough to beat, energetic and physical. Not a pleasant team to face at all. They can be a big challenge for the bigger teams. It's one of those.

Elanga, Gordon and Barnes are rapid.

They have one of the most physical midfields around with Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton.

They're a young, hungry team that is very well coached and hard working.

Barca should win but if Flick is complacent, then it might be a problem. On their day they can definitely beat you.

Barca don't have the central defenders Liverpool and Arsenal have. Your CBs aren't anywhere near that level. That is where these pacy attackers can hurt your high line.
