In an ideal world, Messi would join Napoli, the entire city of Naples would explode, fans swarming the airport, the streets alive for a couple days in celebration. It would be magic.

However, Messi doesn't work like that. He prefer connections, Cesc is that connection. A move to Napoli, while romantic, would only pile on needless pressure.

Why should Napoli fans automatically love Messi? He doesn't have anything to do with them and he is their God's biggest competition for the GOAT status. Anyway, it's a irrelevant debate, Messi is not going there.

It's actually a good move. Como have a ton of hard working players around him and the Serie A pace is well, pacemaker.

Como are loaded so can afford so great mileage for the brand.

Jersey is naff though. Not begitting for a legend like Messi.

Imo, the greatest big game player of all time was Messi 2010-11.

This beast scored in the round of 16, quarter final, semi final and final.
Cooking in every single round, and giving the greatest performances in the history of sport itself.
