He's busy putting in that work.
If he retains his starting spot and flick doesn't rotate early and regularly I can see fermin leaving next summer

The most important part for him is to stay injury free. He needs the Pedri treatment. All the smaller injuries pile up and throw him back each time, so he doesn't progress. It was the same with Pedri and look his last season where he stayed injury free.He has a lot to prove this season. Seems to be a forgotten man as many XIs contain Raphinha or Fermin at CAM. For 55m he needs to cement his place and that includes staying fit. Let's see if full preseason with Flick can have an effect on his fitness. He only played 1 full game of 90 minutes, vs Betis, last season.
Pedri was a kid who had problems because of overplaying and bad fitness levels all around the team. It looks like his muscles are special and they react different than most of people so the treatment worked (at least for now).
On the other hand Olmo is 27, he had injury problems all his life regardless of different training styles as he played in multiple clubs and he always had problems (how was he in Dinamo with injuries?). I highly doubt they will fix Olmo like they did Pedri. Would be great though...
