DId Laporta pick the most shady promotor, because he offered the best payment?

Good for the players, but the next embarrassment for the club and not the first incident, where it doesn't receive the promised money remembering the barca studios sales.

Promotor I'll give you 1 billion yen.

Laporta: yessss, turns to deco, we got them now.

Laporta just now doing the conversation from yen to euros.

Ohhh hellll noooo, cancel everything.

Nah but someone who backed the rosell, Barto ticket as finally having people in change that know what they are doing.

Should probably STFU and stay silent in a corner, as it relates to things structurally important to the club.

I don't think there's any excuses for this.

These guarantees along with the payment need to be in place long before, so that if something like this happens the club can re-adjust their plans and possibly find another team to play against.

One day before is just amateur hour.

This is just bad management and sadly not the first time either. Being in a bad situation or having to take over a mess doesn't excuse making a mess yourself.

True, very messy this cancellation.

It happens when you go for the more tempting offer, but with the caveat of it being with a shady or inexperienced partner like this promoter probably is.

The bigger offer is always tempting to take up, especially in our financial situation, but can really backfire badly

He definitely got yen confused with euros and is only now figuring it out.

I've been to shows and artist not come out because they didn't get paid, even though they are in the building.

But things like these should be sorted, at least half deposited weeks ago.

No, but want to hear something funny? A lot of the local journalists from papers like MD, Sport, various radio stations in Barcelona that were going to cover the tour already traveled to Japan a few hours ago

Laporta panic calling Morocco right about now, trying to rebook that friendly.

The canceled match in Japan causes a significant inconvenience for Barça, as it had already been accounted for in the balance sheet as part of their revenue from 'tours and friendly matches'. They still hope to salvage the two matches in South Korea. The total revenue was €15M.

Barça changed its Asian tour organizing company this year. It ended its partnership with NSN and hired D-Drive, which during Luis Rubiales' time worked with the RFEF and has Albert Luque, a close friend of Enric Masip, in its management team.

The Barça match canceled in Kobe was co-promoted by Yasuda Group with D-Drive, a company that is still working with the club to meet the required guarantees and save the two matches scheduled in South Korea. Before that, on Saturday or Sunday, Barça is considering playing a first friendly match.
