Imagine if after being handed over probably the worse situation in club football history definitely top 3.

He went on a man utd and arsenal level rebuild, 20+ years, billions spent, and absolutely nothing to show for it, out side of a copa del Rey, and in the case of man utd, needing the richest man in your country to come in help to bail you out and build a new stadium.

Throw even Liverpool into that before klopp.

Instead we have our situation, worse hand off imaginable by Rosell and Barto, and within 5 years.

2 league titles
A brand new stadium being built
Future look as bright as any in Europe.

His haters

But but but but but he lies and his fat.

That's called just hating for the sake of hating.

Not sure about this being top 3 worse situations, Barca had like 30 years with 2 league titles during the 60's, 70's and 80's, never mind how the club had it during the Spanish civil war or during Franco's time.

Not taking anything from Laporta, but this club had it rough tbh. There is a reason it has the second most "nationalist" identity after Bilbao among all big clubs. They have gone through some awful shit, that what Laporta had to work with is probably a peace of cake in comparison to some of the previous eras.

Yeah, club is a cash cow in the modern era. Laporta had to steady the ship but didn't have to perform miracles. A weak league were CL is guaranteed every year, so even on a sporting level it isn't much of a challenge or big risk of ending up trophyless for many years.
And as much as people like to whine about Madrid getting the lion's share of refereeing decisions, we are also favored when Madrid has a points advantage in the league.

I meant from purely football/financial prospective, not the politics and everything else surrounding the the club in the 1930-70's and a lot of other clubs both inside and outside Spain.

But I get your point

Laporta is a mascot. Making great "hunch" decisions but surrounding himself with idiots and failing to see what is going on around him.

Struck gold with Flick, thankfully, and now taking it even easier while getting Barca embarrassed left right and center.

No Camp Nou, no 1:1, no Nico, no tour. What's next, can't register Joan?

Hire more friends, eat more dinners, smile, and problems will go away.

The club has cancelled its friendly with Vissel Kobe citing promoters' failure. Barca will fly to South Korea instead.

Here we go.

Barcelona will travel to Buffet Ya instead on Sunday. Buffet Ya is the highest rated Japanese buffet in Barcelona with over 1000 reviews and an average score of 4.8 out of 5 on Google reviews.

Joan from Les Corts has said that "the food is so good that it is worth cancelling your work trip over".

The whole of August will be a media circus around registration issues with Garcia and Rashford.
