Barca 2025 pre-season

I think the difference is that we are part of some organization (champions something it's called if I remember correctly) when we play our preseason in the USA. Most of the top teams play there under that organisation and they probably have a say in who our opponents will be).

This time we play in Asia and we probably choose our own opponents or another organisation does it. I don't really care about opponents until Gamper. Too bad it will be played at Cruyff stadium, a match against our future coach will be interesting.

This year's pre-season opponents are unusually weak. Maybe it's a request from Flick to have easier games while focusing on tougher training sessions. No lack of European opponents as Arsenal, Milan, Newcastle, Liverpool etc are in Asia as well.
I don't think that's the reason, test games are always easier, no matter the opponent. They will pick the opponent that brings them the best income. Local fans love to see their own clubs facing big european teams, so the offer should be better.

Rashford's presentation should be tomorrow, on Thursday the team flies to Japan.

Sunday July 27th, 12 cest is the first pre-season game against Vissel Kobe.

I'd wish they would fly to Asia each pre-season, because the times are a lot better to watch them in Europe, than 3 a.m when they're in the states.

Vissel Kobe, Seoul, Degu and Como for Gamper

Compared to recent years:
City, RM, Milan, Monaco
Arsenal, RM, Milan, Spurs
Olot, Miami, RM, Juve, Unam

Muricans want to see Europeans clubs play against each other because they don't have their domestic teams to support.

Koreans/Japanese are passionate about their clubs as well as supporting European clubs (or mostly their players like Son and Park who play in European top clubs).

Iñaki Peña will travel to Asia tour. Hansi Flick wants to be respectful towards him after what happened last season, although this doesn't mean the coach has him in his plans. Peña is waiting for better offers to come his way. [@gbsans]
