His name will be forgotten or in best case remembered as the worst La Liga chief. Spain used to be Top 2 league, now its content has fallen back to 4th place behind Serie A and Bundesliga.

To understand the magnitude of the problem, you only have to look at England. Sunderland, newly promoted after eight years out of the Premier League, has spent €115.9 million, more than the 17 "deadly" La Liga teams combined. And they aren't even the biggest spenders: five Premier League clubs have spent more, with Chelsea leading the way with €243.77 million.

Back to Sunderland: they have already signed six players - Reinildo Mandava (free agent), Noah Sadiki (€17 million), Chemsdine Talbi (€20 million), Enzo Le Fée (€23 million), Simon Adingra (€24 million) and Habib Diarra (€32 million). All of them, except for the former Atlético player, would be the most expensive signings in LaLiga if we exclude Barça, Madrid and Atleti.

Truly much more money than sense in that league.

Those Sunderland fees are actually quite respectable.

But then again, if I have to hear about the fuckin tyne-tee derby again, like it is something worth watching I'm gonna go postal. It's like, "oooh, we are called Sunderland, let's call our stadium the Stadium of Light". Fuck off, you Geordie cunts. Just fuck off.

Oh btw, good night chaps. Much love to you all.

They copied Benfica with that. Should have called it 'New Roker Park' or 'Mackem Alley'.
