Camp Nou

Never seen a set of fans so gloomy and almost happy if the club fails to deliver a stadium.

Which is the single most important thing that can happen to the club.

Its almost like when certain "fans" wanted us to lose under Xavi

Nope, I'm not happy but another delay was expected and inevitable.

I'm just laughing at all you naive Lieporta fans who after all the lies still believe everything he sells to you.

Interestingly noone blamed the Turks. Didn't they guarantee it would be ready?
Because there is nothing to blame yet. The construction itself progresses at a very good speed. They just had other problems like finding workforce. They underestimated the market and had to get workers from eastern Europe and that takes time.

Still, no deadlines have been hurt so far. According to Laporta, the deadlines are:

- Start the 25/26 season in the Camp Nou
- VIP rings ready by the end of 25
- Stadium finished by summer-winter 26

We're nearing the first deadline, but Limak has until mid September, that's when we play our first game at home.

It's not just about the stadium, he lies everywhere else too.

He's the head of a billion dollar company, of course he lies who doesn't?. What is he a robot programmed to only tell the truth.

What's important is the job he's getting done and none can argue against that, so we are left with he lied she doesn't scout the right places. FM style lol.

everything else he does for the club far out weighs that.

Politicians lie. In other news the sky is blue. What fairytale world do some of you live in?

Politicians will always push their own narrative, no matter the domain. Doesn't erase the fact he's this club's greatest president who took a sinking ship left in shambles by last president and is turning it around, while still winning trophies and building a competitive team.

Fuck out of here with your disrespect.

Lol no, we were supposed to be playing there since November (or was the first deadline even earlier).

No, he should fuck out with the disrespect he has shown towards the club's three of the biggest legends.

For his fan boys he just can't do nothing wrong.

Surely we have retained an option for Montjuic.

Laporta will be desperate to debut at the new Stadium this season though.

Imagine pushing through the stadium, losing elections, and then the new board run the first game there.

It was reported that it isn't as they've removed everything from there with the stadium also being booked the next few months for other events.

We'll see though. They have to get it ready for the CL league phase at least or else we're screwed I think as we'll have to play at the Estadi Johan Cruyff until the KO phase if we start there.

If newest reports are true, then we'll not make it till Gamper. Well, they better finish it until the first deadline in September. Nearly 2 months time to finish completely the first two stands.
They should focus only on them. No one cares if the VIP rings or third stand will take 2 months more time. The important part is to return.

That’s a shame.

Like I said before, they keep shooting themselves in the foot with statements, public announcements and PR campaigns like this which would just look very silly if the return is delayed even more now.

Delays happen, but they’re not morons and must know for sure that their targets may have been possibly very unrealistic?

Unless it's all done with a purpose. Lying has benefits in politics. Nobody is going to be elected in any position if they say the truth.

I would say pushing the agenda that we're closer to returning than we are in reality has some benefits as well. With not much to lose.

Works will have their own pace no matter what the club says. You can't build the entire stadium in 3 years like they said. 4 years at best is a realistic objective.
