I admit I used to rate him highly, when he was a bit better than now and I wasn't paying full attention, but watching him more closely... He's just a one-dimensional pace merchant.

Cut in and shoot...cut in and shoot...cut in and shoot. That basically sums up his entire game. Mbappe is a bit overhyped too but at least he has more to this game than this. Vini can't pass, can't dribble past more than one man, relies on pace.

Him and that other clown Bellingham are two of the most overrated players on Earth. The undeserved hype Real Madrid and Man United players have in this sport is truly repulsive.

And in my view anyone who thinks this guy deserved the Ballon d'Or over a brilliant controlling midfielder like Rodri is clueless and can't see past goal stats, and I guarantee they think Ronaldo is better than Messi too. All those clowns have been proved wrong (as they always are) by this guy's awful performances and Man City's decline without Rodri (it's not just about his loss but it plays a big part).

Sell Mbappe, sign a striker and he'll start to perform again.

But that ain't happening lol
Interesting. I think it's the other way about - Mbappe is a better player and they've upgraded on Vinicius by signing him, but they're making Mbappe worse by not punting Vini who's currently useless in spaces Mbappe can thrive in if Vini isn't there.

Somehow people are saying they should get rid of Mbappe to appease Vini. When actually Mbappe has shown more ability and output over his career than Vini, and if you stuck him left wing where Vini is now and had no Vini, Real would be a better balanced team.

I am not even an Mbappe fanboy - not a huge fan of him. But definitely think he's a comfortably better player than Vini. He's proved that over his career.

My point is they'd be a better team without one of them instead of including both of them, either way. But they'd be better off overall without Vini, not without Mbappe. I'd much rather have Mbappe and not Vini than Vini and not Mbappe.

Either way, they're the 'galacticos' so they'll continue to persist with them and trying to shoehorn them both and that other inbred Bellingham into the team. Happy days either way for anyone who hates the club. A smart club would get rid of at least two of them, but they've always been more about glitz and glamour and moments than brilliant football.

Vini has shown he can deliver for Madrid at the highest level, while with Mbappe based on the evidence so far with PSG and Madrid, he gets good individual numbers but he makes the overall team worse.

He's scored a lot of goals last season, but Madrid as a team scored about the same the season before he came, so as a team they didn't improve in the department he was signed to improve.

Fair enough..I respect your view but not sure it's that simple. They might have improved more with mbappe but without vini is my point
Vini has been able to play in this team without mbappe getting in his way in past. As newcomer to team mbappe cannot say same.

But it's maybe more complex than either of us is suggesting
