No wonder club suffered for a decade if this is how club executives evaluated things. Guy was finished by 2012 after Puyol retired, had a little renaissance with Lucho due to the front 6 dominance and then turned into a total and permanent clown from 2016 onwards. Should have been sold in 2017 at the latest yet he made it until 2022. Doesn't even make sense, we benched bigger legends like Xavi and Iniesta quicker than that. Xavi declined from 2012 onwards (where he dominated the Euro Cup final against Italy) and by 2014 Rakitic already took his place. Yet the likes of Pique, Busquets, Alba terrorized for half a decade after turning into total garbage bags. Not only that, let's give them raises as well.

Amigos must have had video evidence of Bartomeu getting golden showered by cheap hookers or something. No other explanation.

Pique was one of the best centre backs in the world in 2018-19 ( only Virg came close ) , but that was definitely his last hurrah.

Alba was always somewhat useful due to how good he was in attack with his connection to Leo. But defensively in the big games he let himself down and that seems to have stained his legacy with many.

Busi was the one stealing a living from around 2018 onwards.

He is so good at chipping that he can even do it with his right foot. Most players can't chip that well with their strong foot, but he can with his weak.

It's a not much talked about aspect of his game.

This confirms 3 things

- He generates so much revenue for the club that his wages are not a problem and the club is ok with that
- Funny that Suarez is not mentioned at all.
- Bartomeu is a weak ass president

Pretty much all the aspects of his game seem supernatural so it's pointless to point out only one of them. You could create huge youtube comp about every single thing that he does on the field. This is what i consider as being "genius". It's like listening to Beethoven or Bach. Those guys do nothing wrong ever. It's like they're not of this world.
edit: i'm mentioning "genius" because when i was younger i though that this term can only be attributed to intellectual excellence or high wisdom, but after watching entirety of Messis career (and still keeping up with it), i've come to conclusion that yes, indeed there can be geniuses in sports balls. Would probably came to same conclusion, if could watch Maradona week in and week out.
