That’s the stupidest take I have ever heard. The likes of 2019-20 Bayern and 2022-23 City exist my brother and you cannot convince me 2024-25 PSG is better than them. People are like sheeps these days they look at a team that dominated in a generally weak season for football and get deluded into believing they’re anything more than that.

I normally agree with you on football mate, 95 percent of the time but I do think they're potentially as good as City and Bayern - maybe not better but similar level. I had similar doubts but as I said they're an excellent team.

I did qualify it though with saying it could just be form that they'd need to sustain. And that it is likely they won't be seen that way as the premise rests on winning the CL every season as their league gets no credit. So likely impossible.

2019-2020 Bayern was a COVID season tbh at the end for the CL in that mini-tournament.

Barca ain't gonna be favorites for the CL until they sign a LW and some depth in defence.

A single defensive injury will cripple the backline and leave it exposed for the taking.

Also, a different discussion, and I know they won less, but I consider City's centurions team (2018) better than their treble team. More balanced and dominant in the league without Haaland. They were eliminated in the CL but that Liverpool could have eliminated their 2023 team, too.

French football is the most overrated football of all time. Won 2 Champions Leagues, 1 due to doping and the other in the weakest CL in years. Same league winner 7 times in the last 8 years.

Won 2 World Cups, 1 due to a seizure and the other (fair enough couldn’t find a problem with that one)

Won 2 Euros, 1 in home soil and the other due to Italy being complacent.

Isn’t better than Spanish football in my books….

Regarding Bayern 2019-20, remove COVID it was pretty clear that Bayern Munich was the clearest favourite for the CL that season after March.
