Crynaldo used to take shoot from longer distance than Messi would ever try to attempt. Mainly because he had stronger kicking power. He relied purely on that power.

Messi's shoot is all about technique and precision.

Messi is far more clinical. I think I read somewhere that he scored a similar amount of goals in like 1,000 fewer shots than Ronaldo over career.

And if anyone wants to say Ronaldo takes more difficult shots and more from distance, well that isn't the win they think it is, as that would speak to his lower football IQ and poorer decision making, shooting from miles out all the time. As it is though the eye test supports these stats - I do see Ronaldo miss more in the box generally than Messi.

Goalscorer is usually a volume shooter in general though. Messi generates more shots than usual playmaker too.

Yeah Messi's accuracy is much better than Ronaldo's. Except for only heading accuracy which is Ronaldo's unparalleled strength.

Frustrating that he is not more interested in the possibility of returning to European football. The last years of the greatest talent in footballing history being wasted in the MLS playing with a bunch of amateurs. Zlatan said it the best, as usual. It’s truly depressing. Leo became a bit too nonchalant after that WC for my liking. Wish he had some hunger left to chase and break records, but I guess he was honest saying he never cared for those. That will remain my only criticism.

That's true mate. Just mean that Ronaldo takes a lot more shots than Messi, even if Messi takes a lot himself.

True Ronaldo is one of the best headers ever, if not the best. It's his biggest GOAT trait for me.
