Great team, great players. Well drilled, complete, balanced

But still a plastic shithole of a club. That should not exist in world football

Hence, all the way Chelsea in the final. Although both clubs are shit,
One is 10 years more plastic then the other. Both total shithouses. Our duty is to fuck them all up next season, qsg is fine until one hole starts to leak, and there are plenty of candidates for that to happen

Nah it wouldn't go that far.

They won it all at a time when others are weak and football in general.

We are living through a time where some fans will look you dead in the face and call certain players WC that aren't fit to walk in the shoes of someone like let's say Rakitic, Pepe, crespo.

QSG 24/25 gonna be talked as one of the greatest team in history.

I don't think so. This season was weird. Almost everybody else was shit. Like really shit. I expect more competition next season.

I think I need another season from PSG to declare them all time goods. Let's see! If they repeat in this manner, tough to complain though.

But look at top teams from this season:
Gassed out Liverpool had no chance vs PSG. No legs or speed. PL and other competitions took their toll.
ManC was having a Pep divorce problems.
Real was a complete mess with Mbappe.
Arsenal doesn't even have a proper striker.
Barcelona Lewy and the kids.
Bayern, Kompany enough said. On a big down spiral.
Inter small squad, old team trying to compete in too many competitions. Burn.
Dortmund is Dortmund.

Meh. Very meh. I think that's also part of it why we were so good. The competition was weak. Next season we must be way better too. The opponents are sharpening their knifes (buying players and blowing money).

You can also notice how much edge non competitive league gave PSG. A big edge vs Barcelona and Inter for example. Maybe Liverpool too because they tried to win more trophies.

I think only realistic competition vs PSG last season was Liverpool or Barca on a good day. Maybe you could add Arsenal but more of a park the bus type of win. Liverpool and Barca would try to play football vs PSG.

But it's easy to forget that PSG almost dropped out from the group stages on CL. Crazy how things can change in few months..

I know what you guys are saying with the dearth of competition. However, there's something special about how they play football - they're a very complete, entertaining and athletic and technical team. They're the full package. They just strangle and batter teams into submission with the speed of their play.

Now, whether this has just been a level they have reached briefly and will fall away from is another question. They might not sustain it, and doing so is the test of their brilliance. I admit I was a doubter of theirs for a while, but when I actually started watching them later into the CL season I saw what the fuss was about.

It's hard to explain but they just dominate teams. They have everything - pace, power, technique, mental strength, high football IQ, clinical edge, positional sense and movement.

I don't like them at all as a club but I rate the majority of their players pretty highly and - crucially - they have incredible synergy and chemistry with each other on the pitch.

But, again, the test is whether they can maintain it. Maybe I am getting carried away here but I think they're potentially the best team we have seen since Pep and Enrique himself's Barca. Them or Pep's Man City. We will need to see if they can continue this. The odds are against it because they have to retain the CL (a massive ask) as nobody will give them credit if they win the domestic league only. That is kind of unfair to them as I believe if you dropped them in the PL they could win that over the course of 38 games too.

I will admit something that i hoped to take to grave with me but I actually supported RM in this duel. I just hate this monopoly clubs, I even see many people (not here thank god) claiming how smart they buy and all, but this is still so plastic and fake it hurts. Like, let's not have 10 stars but we need winger, midfielder, defender, lb whatever...ok, here is 1 billion buy something. Unfortunately this looks like a window in to the future and maybe even Barca will have to follow in couple of years.

It's stupid I agree. They are playing Football Manager with unlimited budget. It's not so hard then. Barca has to fight for every signing Tebas, LaLiga, the government of Spain, Real Madrid, Bilbao, Sevilla and so on. It's so ***** boring.

But there's reason for it. They know if Barca could make their moves without drama and hassle, they would be the best team in the world and that scares them.

The game vs Man City in league stage might be most important in their history now. Fucking Pep had a 2-0 lead and bottled it

If City won, PSG is out, this season would be labeled an embarrassment, maybe we would wait more to see the superteam or who knows if it would even exist
The butterfly effect.

Maybe controversial, but could you say the same about Iniesta's goal against Chelsea? Barca would likely have become the best team ever anyway, but that really changed everything in that moment.

This is what football should be, we made bad decision, struggle financially and put youngsters in to the first 11: Cubarsi, Balde, Pedri, Gavi, Casado, Bernal, Yamal...and again created something, but still have problems to buy. Man City had one bad year and now they are "rebuilding" squad, or cherry picking whoever they see. The worst thing is we all now it's fake and not in the spirit with FFP but UEFA doesn't care, the opposite, they will punish us for some things while those plastic clubs show fake sponsor deals as profit.

Man what is this insane discourse surrounding PSG, there are some takes saying they’re the best team since 2010-11 Barça and I think that it’s absolutely preposterous

Other than Pep and Enrique's Barcas - as I mentioned above - and Pep's Man City, I cannot see who is better. I said it above, it's unfair on them as they get no credit for winning the domestic league, so they have to win the CL every season to be taken seriously. But I think they could win any league in Europe.

Like I said, it could just be a burst of form. But to me they look a better side than Real 13-14, any of Real's three in a row or Klopp's Liverpool. IF (huge if) they maintain this level. I mean they absolutely dominate sides. What more do you want them to do? They have spanked some teams recently, have an incredible midfield, amazing full-backs, a top goalkeeper, a fluid as fuck front three. They're brimming with collective all-time great level technique, movement, positioning, pace, physicality.

I was a doubter too, but they have been special in the CL knockouts and CWC. What they need to do now is maintain this level, but it will always be held against them that they play in Ligue 1.
