2025 World Aquatics Championships

Starts on Friday, being held in Singapore.

Here's some information about it


I am not interested until the swimming starts really, which will be 8 days of events starting 27 July and concluding 3 August. If you want to know more about the swimming (many of us enjoyed the Olympics) you can find out more here. The times in Europe are 3 am UK Time for the morning sessions (4 am for Central Europe) and 12 pm UK time (1pm Central Europe) for the evening sessions

Artistic swimming (especially women's, lol) is interesting too, mainly team competitions.

Also like diving and will probably watch water polo but only from QFs or SFs. So yeah, not much to watch before the last week.

This is actually scaring AF, doesn't look too safe to me either.


Prefer cliff diving, must be crazy to do it though, lol.

Yes, the other sports look good (water polo is interesting too as you say), but I don't wanna devote almost a full month to watching the events so gonna focus mainly on the swimming. Maybe I will try to watch the odd other sport, we will see.

Those videos are very impressive, and as you say very scary (you probably know I have a fear of heights, lol). No denying the athleticism and talent (and bravery) of some of those divers but I couldn't watch that regularly at those heights, lol. Definitely not safe as you say.

That cliff diving is mad.
