For Barca even 40M is a problem thats why they prefer a loan with buying option but not mandatory.. But yes I agree his high salary is also a problem

I watched most of those games, and believe me I am not exaggerating when I say he was invisible in a lot of them other than the goals. Man United fans who are more critical of him say the same thing.
He's an excellent example of someone who will produce a 'moment' in a game but be a complete liability for most of it in general play. He's a big trap.

Ya, the guy is pretty anonymous most of the games. We are all hoping that if he joins, Flicks changes this attitude of his.
Plus his twerking for us is giving me that hope that maybe he wants to change that.
That being said, because of his previous attitude, I only want it to be a loan deal. Atleast we will have a fail-safe, if his attitude remains the same.
I just posted that video as a tongue-in-cheek jab at Nico. Say whatever about Rashy, he still scores bangers.
I like the player, but I am not deluded to overlook his shortcomings or buy him outright.

Yeah I am not a big fan of Nico Williams either tbh, and don't see him as worth the hassle or financial outlay he would have cost. Diaz would be a risk too. And leao
I guess with the flaws of the other options rash might be worth loaning. But it's never good when someone comes in because alternatives are equally underwhelming rather than being promising on their own merits.
I'm not arrogant enough to think I'm always right so maybe he'd do well at Barca. Hope so. But I don't see the move happening at this moment anyway.

Yeah, or more likely no breaks but less posting throughout the day in general. Maybe come on for an hour or two max in general. Some people post very frequently and are happy/fine with that, but for me I feel I should be doing other stuff. Just a distinction in perspective.
I do enjoy my other hobbies too. I mean I still do other stuff, but this posting for 7-8 hours a day isn't good for me I don't think.

40m + big wage is the money you usually pay for a player in a good moment with real chances of being a full starter shortly. Not Rashford's position at the moment, and for him to make a turn for the better in his career and deliver is somewhat of a bet. I'd take the bet, but it has to come at lower cost for us than what both United and him probably want.
No matter what we do, a better left winger, or wide left forward instead of Fati needs to be signed. The cheaper the better, but the player has to be able to contribute far more than Fati did. Fati didn't deliver last season even 15% of Joao Felix output. The margin for improvement here squad wise from Fati to a good player is huge.

A Man u bloke told me there is little chance Man U would want to loan Marcus, as he and Garnacho are only players they could earn serious money on this transfer window as they are home products thus on books all of the transfer money would be net profit.
