0 sense unless Kounde is going back to CB, then makes a lot sense (unlikely scenario)

Otherwise yeah backup LB or a starter CB should be a much higher priority

Then there is also possibility of Flick changing formation next season or something, we don't know

If they sign him I won't complain bcz probably got a plan for him

He’s very limited on ball.

He’s workhorse pur sang. Can run like mad in straight lines but lacks technical capabilities for playing at Barca.

I love him. He is inspiring to watch and does well for NT. Great personality. But I think he would not live up to what people expect of him. He’s already 29 so don’t see much room for development.

Think Barca should aim higher.

Yeah I agree which is why I said I consider Kounde to be better. Denzel is faster, taller, better physically but Kounde just more iq and slightly better tech.

So the idea of replacing Kounde with Denzel is absolute nonsense. The idea of Denzel being a backup for Jules is.. meh. I don't think Denzel would even agree for it, but either way we already have a good backup in Eric

Then idea of Jules going back to CB is.. I don't know. I personally believe he would make a great CB again. He was one of the best in La Liga not long ago. But the most important thing is if Flick believes, if yes then go all in for it. I hope he considers it at least

I remember telling other Barca fans about Dest back in 2020, they were all sold on him and thought he would be the next Alves. Unfortunately me and you knew about Dest wasn’t even the best RB at Ajax that was Mazraoui.

And ofcourse he ended up being a disaster, Cules better listen to us now. Nu moeten ze toch echt luisteren.

How about Mazraoui??

At one point we were linked to him. He'd be a good back up and would prefer Barca to Utd.

Would be far more enticing if he was LB.

I think club is set on Kounde and Eric as RBs. It makes the system/tactic intact. If we are gonna get a wingback do it for the left side instead.

We’ve consistently been linked with RBs when on paper that position is better covered than LB.

Not saying it’s going to be Denzel Washington, but adding Kounde back to CB rotation if we manage to move Araujo and / or Christensen on does seem to be on the cards.
