19 - Lamine Yamal

I attribute it to lack of professionalism. In 2017 Neymar became a king in PSG. Could whatever he want, take vacations, etc.

Reminds me of Romario and Cruyff talk - if I score a brace next game, can go to the Rio carnival.

Yeah, surely lack of professionalism. Eventually, it's about how much you love the competitive side of top level football. If you are a really big competitor, your self esteem won't allow you to become a joke at your main skill.

If you're only in it for the money and the girls, then your competitive level is average. You're not cut out for the big things.

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
Can we also stop pretending Lamine is off on a lads holiday and hooking up with the odd chick here or there, like every other kid his age. The guy is messaging and trying to hook up with porn hoes.

Porn hoes will stick their tongues into a dirty man's dirty anus 🤮 🤢 and put it on video for the whole world to see, for as little as 2,000 dollars.

Can you imagine what sort of shit they will pull with a 17 year old kid, who has no idea how ruthless women can be, and who sees 1 million dollars as pocket change???????

I previously said that I would fall into temptation myself if I was in his shoes at 17, but porn hoes and Onlyfans sluts would definitely not have been on the menu. :trump:

This is a huge simplification.

-People change over time. Look at Dembele. He matured very late in his career compared to others. Neymar until a certain point definitely loved his vocation as a football player.

-There is pressure. Neymar had big shoes to fill and every Brazilian legend said they were guaranteed sure he would be winning balon dors. Maybe pressure started affecting him negatively.

-Then there is your environment. The wrong people can ruin your career. Also vultures everywhere.

To be fair, English girls on a lads holiday will do that for free.

Rosberg retired from F1 because he won one championship. Tennis players retired after winning one grand slam. There are some who make it big, and then that's what they wanted, they don't have the level of sacrifice to keep doing it again and again. And there's those who want to win and win and win, and never get tired of it, or never really feel like they've finished the job.

U dont need that mentality to be successful tbf. There are others that work.

For example there are players that don’t think about the trophies primarily.
They simplify it to: Everytime I am on the pitch I give my 100%.

They carry it out as a duty and have high demands of themselves.

U dont need that mentality to be successful tbf. There are others that work equally.

For example there are players that don’t think about the trophies.
They simplify things. They decide to give their 100% every time theyre on the pitch.

You need that mentality to be a truly great champion. You can be successful without it, but you can't be one of the greats. It depends on what you want. Neymar had great talent and somewhat underwhelming ambitions.

As far as he's concerned, she's only a hot woman. Obviously it's not good for him, but at 17 you only categorize based on looks.

Neymar never stood a chance with his parents and entourage. They couldn't care less about his career. He was their golden goose ever since he was 11 years old.

He basically never grew up either and matured like a man should. We're talking about the type of degenerate that cannot stop himself from playing poker and casinos on his phone even at his daughter's birthday

We don't know how Yamal's entourage is, but ultimately the responsability is his and his alone. How much dedicated to football you are. It comes down to the same thing. If football is most important, he will prove it. You don't have to like him as a person. For me, it's largely irrelevant what he does in his private life, unless he starts to show signs of his private life affecting his career.

He's probably young and stupid at this time, but it's a phase, and for most people it will pass as he grows more mature and hopefully smarter.

We don't know, but the one positive about Lamine is that he has an agent that will provide him with everything to succeed since it's in his agent's best interest as well.

Lamine is Jorge Mendes' golden goose now and he will do whatever it takes to get the maximum out of him. Especially with Ansu and Joao Felix not working out for him.

The rest is up to Lamine and his commitment and mentality.
