Interesting discussion guys, imo its completely ok to do a bit party, i mean guy is 17, other football players had the chance to be in that age more relaxed and have the opportunity to enjoy being a kid while Lamine wont have this 'freedom' considering he is playing on top level already.

Also he has guys like Frenkie, Pedri, Lewy and so on to humble him if he goes overboard with parties.

Ronny and Ney are examples enough where it can go if you party too much, if he stays proffessionell he can easily play 15+ years on top level

🇫🇷🏡 Arsene Wenger: "It's very simple, you build a player like you build a house."

"First comes the basement, the base of a player is technique. You get that between the ages of 7 and 14 years of age."

"If you have no technical skill at 14, forget it. You will never be a football player."

"The second part is the physical aspect, the first floor. Unfortunately, that is decided between 14-17 years of age where you feel you'll be strong enough, quick enough."

"The second floor is tactical understanding. Does he have an understanding of the game? What to do with the ball?"

"The final part that is decided at 18-19 years of age is how successful the player wants to be”

I want you clowns to realise Yamal is still at the final part end he can still lose it all if he isn’t 100% focused

People underestimate this guy's mentality. He won't let himself ruin his career. It's defeat and he clearly doesn't love defeat

And no, partying during the summer/off season (completely common occurence) and having 100 fat journalists following you and taking pictures every time they see you are in close proximity to a female - changes nothing in my belief this guy won't let it happen

Yamal's arc is similar to Neymar when it gets to women at first look. Neymar became a father while still being a teenager.

What fucks up a talent is not having relationships, but tabloid drama with celebs. In Neymar's case it wasn't just the celeb women, but bad conditioning and injuries as well.

Also high chance he will abstain from alcohol. Which means he will retain control of situation.

Neymars problem was he enjoyed partying and getting drunk. Addicted to the escapism.

He probably became injury prone due to alcohol consumption. Not sure.

Sure but there's no sign he is not focused on his career. Certainly you don't draw these conclusion while he is in vacation. We will see his level when he comes back to preseason and especially once the season starts. If he is gonna be in a semi-permanent vacation, then yes, we need to start taking measures.

Ney was a very very lucky boy. If there wasn't video evidence, he would probably be in jail right now, known worldwide as a sex offender.

Bit like Don Alves, despite the courts having admitted they were wrong, Alves' name is still dirt.

And the girls Lamine is hanging around with are far more predatory than the ones Ney or Alves did.

Lamine can do what he wants, but he is skating on thin ice, there's no doubt about that.

I attribute it to lack of professionalism. In 2017 Neymar became a king in PSG. Could do whatever he want, take vacations, etc.

Reminds me of Romario and Cruyff talk - if I score a brace next game, can go to the Rio carnival.
