Imagine if any other player did the same as Yamal to keeper. Shows he doesn't take the game nor best itw image seriously acting like a scrub on goal. And his other shots today looked like old school Dembele to mid-stands.

Urgency doesn't score against a good bus, tiki taka does but this lineup first time this season no surprise everyone underperformed xG.

Garcia had 92% passing, got the only assist of game and made as many tackles as anyone in Barca team.

First off, today was not the first time he was playing as RB for both Barca and Spain. So its not a new position
Should we we then agree that any player that appears in a position for the first time at Barca and being average at such could be regarded as being "great" , going forward?

Ansu did alright, it's good he got a chance and we still won. Would be great to have him as an attacking option if he's sharp enough. Araujo was also really good today, some amazing blocks and interceptions. I do agree that Torre and Christensen would've been nice to see as well. But overall we did everything besides finishing amazingly.

Defenders are rated more on stats such as interceptions made; aerial duels won; tackles made; clearance made; duel won %; fouls committed in dangerous places; etc;.
Only someone with a pedestrian knowledge of football rates a defender only on pass accuracy or goal contribution.

They should sit out this game anyways. Especially the first three to be rested for the second leg.
True but if that's the case then they might as well could've been suspended for Valladolid.

Everything that has been missing in the past few games— intensity, speed of ball movement, accuracy, good combination wall passing. Sorely lacking in finishing but everything else was entertaining.
Olmo continues to be my favorite current Barca player by some margin. Clever, creative, technical, efficient.
Fort and Fati impressed. Fort seems far more clever and technical than Balde, though lacks Balde's burst of pace (likely the primary reason that Balde starts; no idea why Martin starts over Fort). Gavi continues to be solid.
