Araujo mistake was the biggest factor of course, but Xavi could react better. First mistake is the sub after the red card and the second is him going nuts and being sent off, because of a foul in the centre of the pitch, showing his players how lost he is.
Selling Araujo will be no brainer, I hope you do it. I think he is playing bad now, because of this mistake, he know he is guilty and should apologise, but he is not finding the strength to do it (at least publicly). He will probably do it after the season ends or before the next season. Must relieve the pressure, everybody makes mistakes.

But, wait, who cares about a phyrric first leg victory when you will be mauled in the overall result . In 10 years, nobody will remember the first leg nonsense as important...what will be on record is the final outcome of the tie...Barca were dumped by PSG to advance to the semis. Shoulda woulda coulda. You don't know what the scoreline would have been if there was no Red card? The hard truth is even with no control of the game we were a goal up during this time. Almost 30min of the game.
And tell me a single team that controls the game for 90+ mins except Barca circa Tiki-taka era? According to your logic, RM should be loosing most of its matches, because most of the time they are always on the backfoot not controlling the game.
It's plain simple the Red card made up lose whatever chance we had in this game. We might have won, but evidence shows that a 11v11 we were superior result-wise.
I am not absolving Xavi here, we could have even won with 10men if we defended well and with better tactics. Maybe if he subbed Lewa off instead of Yamal, and other stuff. But that's still Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda

...which RM are you referring to? If its the one of the last 2/3 years....what they do best is controlling the game most of the time. It's high time you guys forgot about one player messing up your matches. There have been matches where Barca lost a man to a card and still won. No one remembered the player then...i'm sure the coach woukd have been praised to high heavens for managing the match 1 man down. Face the truth. You have a comedian as a current coach. No serious team ships in more than a dozen of comical and preventable goals in 4 matches and then holds one player responsible for that.
