Humble Mbappii?

"I tried to help my team as best as I could but I didn't do enough. When we talk about being efficient in the boxes, I think I'm the one targeted. I'm the guy who should score goals and be decisive. When things are good, I take all the limelight and when they are not, you have to take the shadow. That's not a problem. The first one who should have scored tonight was me. That's life and we have to move on, me and the team."

Whats up with his dribbling anyway?

The few times he took on defenders, it was underwhelming to say the least.

He was better at this in the past, i'm sure.

Has to join RM to win the CL, even Joselu can do that, lol.

Best player in the world my ass.

Would actually be funny (even if I don't want them to ever win it) if PSG would win CL the season after he left them.

He is by far the best in the world. Recency bias is a forum speciality these days.

Lucho(who many in here see as a good manager) fucked it up at the start of the season. Benched Mbappe, after he didn't have a proper preseason and then after losing 2-3 games had to reconsider. He single-handedly carried PSG this season to the title and where they finished in CL. Pretty good for a player lacking motivation, constantly fighting with the manager and lacking proper preparation.

PSG without him will barely finish top 3 in the league.

The retarded takes about how Vinicius is better are laughable.

He is never the best player in a single club season. There are always a few players better than him.

He is terrible vs weak Barca and weak Dortmund.

That "Mbappe is the best itw" is just an illusion, because of his talent. However when it comes to performances, there are always other players better than him (club season, not World Cup).

Who is objectively better this season? Vinicius and that's mainly off the back of some performances in CL KOs, with a much better squad behind him and no troubles to bother him.

No other player in the top 5 leagues has had to carry a team like Mbappe did this season at PSG.

Was he underwhelming in the CL KOs? Yes, he should have scored more vs Barca and Dortmund.

He'll probably go to the Euros, tear up the tournament and everyone will start screaming best in the world again.

Did Mcry always suck against parked buses this season or just against Dortmund? Did he need Ney and Messi to beat buses previous seasons?

What I pointed out in cl thread. People speculate it’s because teams were well set up against him. Don’t think it’s whole story. Could be he gets revived at real.

Teams are always set up against opponent's star players. That's no excuse.

Yeah. But psg did face teams that opted to sit deeper than usual. Best scenario for us he lost some pace. My money is on drop in mentality. Will prolly be at his fittest once at real. We screwed lol.

Sure, his honeymoon phase will be probably even more impressive than Bellingham's. But I'll wait till the end of next season to rate him. Bellingham also stopped his Ballon D'Or performances along the way. There comes always a time, where it's not that exciting anymore to wake up to the same face :D
