I am so sad to say this but Pedri is not it. For whatever reason, call it injuries, overplaying or whatever, he is not the player people fantasised he could be.
He looks like an underdeveloped youngster against men.
He seems like he has a real problem and it's not just bad rehab.

I highlighted it before, but we're 2 or 3 years in to his 'physical transformation' and he's literally no different. It's not normal for someone to begin strength training and gain almost no muscle in several years. If that happens, either something is wrong with the training, or wrong with the person.

A young athlete like him, especially with how much time he has spent injured (gives you time to work in the gym as you don't have to train regularly and tire yourself out) should be in much better shape by now.

He doesn't even really have a toned look - his build is just stick thin and really really frail. At least, the weaker guys like Gavi or Fermin or De Jong are fit and lean despite being small, so you know they probably do physical work on the side, with Pedri, I really doubt he is doing any effective work. It's either that or he has a physical health problem, which is also possible given how hard he's been pushed over the last years. Its not uncommon for serious physical health issues to develop after extreme stress on the joints and muscles.
Depends on how much you eat.

He lacks of energy. Can do many things with the ball but usually plays with low energy, thus it makes him invisible on the pitch quite many time.

It may take him a year of no injury, rotation.

I doubt Barca has such inept physios. It’s just Pedri has inherently poor build for modern football at top level.

he fits in everything what is wrong with modern day football and why i starting to loose passion for it...

gets into senior football, media and socials hype him up on the basis of 5-15 games, gets labelled next you name it,wonderkid, over night all the top clubs are fighting to sign him, millions are thrown around to secure the sign, gets signed for top club before actually playing full senior season, also gets signed on millions worth of contract, gets labelled as someone that the club will build around for years without any foundation, consequentaly gets called into national team first 11-15,everything is handed on silver platter, all that within first year of contract...high life, nice city, big club, millions on account, having everything 99% players dream of by the age of 20?

and then what happens? of course, when it becomes clear that he or whoever might not be that special, that he is not reaching or showing assumed potential, that he has flaws in his game or flaws overall, that his contribution is not high or good enough it is completely normal to talk about selling said player and turn attention to next one season wonder or worse, another 17-18yo who is new "you name it" and next big thing...

They need to give him some proper rest after the EURO and see if he can regain his physical level again.
If he keep getting injured or looks like a 40 year old off the ball even after that the club probably have a decision to make here.

He'll always be fantastic on the ball, but it's impossible to carry a player that cannot compete whatsoever physically off the ball.

Rest from what? Is he still exhausted from 20/21 campaign?

The club is obsessed with this type of player. The problem is this sort of profile doesn't work that well in the modern game. Alot of the modern game is working WITHOUT the ball.
Our dinosaurs at the club still can't or won't understand that fact.

Not really

Iniesta Xavi Busquets all had a great engine and pressed like maniacs

But pedri clearly doesn't have that. I question how the whole club allows pedri to not have the physical fitness of a football player. His legs are toothpicks he can't even engage in duels he is just like pique stands meters away from someone because he khows he can't challenge them.

Why is there no program to add muscles in his ass and legs and stop with his brother nonsense

Madre Mia, such a toxic support. Making lies about his commitment. I'm one of his biggest critics but there has never been any question about his professionalism. He just hasn't played well for a while now.

They should spend their energy exposing the robbery of the century at the weekend instead of making up baseless gossip to attack their own players. Apparently somebody wished death on Cancelo's unborn daughter as well. 🤮

This fan base makes this club incredibly unappealing to follow.
