What does that mean? If we sell a player for 100m, we can spend 60m for what exactly? Strictly wages for the next season?
Wage and transfer fees are counted together, they aren't separated.
You sell a player for 100M, save his 20M salary. That is 120M saved. Now you can spend 60% of that as investment, that is 72M.
You sign 3 players, each on 50M deal (club fees, signing bonus, agent fees) on 14M salary, on 5 years contract. That 24M annual cost per player, 72 in total. You can register those 3.
But it's even more complicated, because that player might have a cost on the books, for example F.Torres is worth 30M on books for remaining 3 years. So let's say you sell him for 25M?
You clear 10M annual cost as a saving, but you also made 5M loss. Let's say his salary is 10M, so those are 20M saved from cap space, but 5M loss. So it is 15M saving, 60% of it is 9M, can be spend in both amortization and salary.
