Barca Transfers and Rumors

Wouldn't mind him but don't know why Bayern would loan him. I know Tuchel talked he has struggled to adapt and doesn't understand German or English but he's been there for only two months.

And if Xabi will really take the Bayern job I think he'll keep Bryan.

Lots of factors here, but if he isn't able to fit in or they don't count in him next year then it is smart idea to loan him while hiring a personal language tutor for him.
From Barca perspective, it is good to look at such situations for the LW position.
Atletico won't be easy to negotiate with for Felix and he shouldn't be bought even for free (another free loan is great IMO) and Fati is essentially done at top level, so we will have to be creative

we should not buy onana from everton he does not suit our team. Here is what an everton fan said about him.

Overall, he is a great physical presence and he knows how to use that to his advantage, but he doesn’t have the polish right now.

Pros: He can shield people when he has the ball, since he is so big. He can use his length to reach for the ball on defense, and he is aggressive at doing so. He is also a good presence defensively in the air, because he is aggressive in helping against big players. Great dribbler for a man his size.

Cons: He is somewhat inconsistent in passing, at times he will pick out the right idea, and then execute the pass poorly and kill the attack. Despite his height, he is not a strong heading presence when we are going for goal from corners. He is a terrible shooter, he just doesn’t have any composure in front of net. He doesn’t like being a stand alone CDM, he likes moving the ball forward, and as a lone CDM he will usually leave us hanging because he pushes forward into attack a lot, but he works well as a box-to-box alongside an actual CDM.

If you are looking for him to be like Busquets/Casemiro, he’s not that type of player. He is a true center mid, who isn’t super comfortable in attack or defense, and with polish could fall in line with other great box-to-box players, more along the lines of a Yaya Toure.

No messinho?

With yamal,G Fernandez and the African kid, we should be okay as it relates to attacking talent, though one more wouldn't hurt, but the fact that he plays the same position as yamal, wouldn't make sense to spend big money on him unless he's significantly better.

Ofc from Barca perspective getting him on loan would make sense and personally I would prefer him over Felix for example.

I was talking more about what Bayern will do. You usually don't loan a player you just signed (and pay additional money to sign him a few months before initially agreed) because he doesn't learn language in first 2-3 months at the club. IIRC Bale didn't speak Spanish for years during his time in Madrid. Obviously talking about adaptation process not comparing the players here.

There have to be other reasons as well. If Zaragoza and/or his familly are also struggling to adapt living in Germany that's another story.

But now that Xabi is staying at Leverkusen I think chances for Bayern loaning Zaragoza have increased and if he's available then we should definitely consider him. Especially if Bayern don't see a longterm future for him at the club and are willing to include affordable buy option as well. But just a "free" one year loan would help us as well.

I think Estevao has the highest ceiling of them all, but sometimes that means very little.

Estevao will be 17 this month, still super young, but he barely played minutes there, even in their regional tournament.
He was above average in U17 WC, he was amazing in club youth tournament and that's it.

For a club like Barca, considering finances and having both Lamine and I.Diarra it is simply understandable you want to see more of him before paying big fee. And you have to wonder why Palmeiras want money before fully counting on him.

Onana is just 22, pass % is 84% which you would expect to increase if he moved to a LaLiga passing side like ourselves.

I haven't seen much, but I can't help but think you can find that kind of profile and potential in Ligue1 for less.
