Valdezinka had some decent to great 1 on 1 ability but was a liability decent amount of the time.Saved your asses vs Arsenal 2006 for example.
Mats had a period when every shot on target was a goal.Other times he been decent/great.

Who's ahead according to you guys?

Valdes was a good player in a great team. Never World Class.


Plus THAT sensational transplant is admirable.


BTW I hated that gypsy cunt Pinto. Such a wanker yikes!

It's funny how he was our CL goalie in the last treble winning season and now he's not trusted in Europe.

But regarding the topic, I also agree that Valdes was really lucky to have played in the best team of all time. He was never the best in the world in his position, but he was very reliable. It's between him, Ter Stegen and Zubizarreta. I feel like Ter Stegen could take the edge if he wins something important again with Barca. But I don't see us getting anywhere close to Champions League semi-finals in the next years unfortunately.

People have short memories. for the last 4 years prior to this one, that clown Ter-Stegen has been the laughing stock of all of Europe. He's a joke.

Valdes was not a better GK than ter Stegen, but he definitely had more memorable moments and big saves than ter Stegen in that competition.

In fact ter Stegen might only have memorable moment and massive save in his CL career which was in his first season vs. Bayern. I don't know what it is with ter Stegen in the CL. Bad luck, pressure, but he doesn't step up there and have let in some questionable goals.

In all fairness, he's probably a mental midget like the rest of the amigos. That was the downfall of the team in Europe, along with other factors I guess.

Ter Stegen.. With all due respect to Valdes but he played in the best BARCA team in the history.. Overrall Ter Stegen is better GK for me..
