True, but Madrid fans are in denial

Benzema left, Kroos and Modric are leaving next summer.
I am pretty sure that, as soon as the last ones from the old guard are gone, Madrid will have a hard time winning a CL again

Kroos, Modrić and Benzema were absolutely demolished by City. We had better solutions this season already.

Squad wise, Bellingham answers midfield issues perfectly. Kane does the same for forward situation. Forget about Havertz and add top tier RW, with Rodrygo and Joselu being back-ups. LB has been brought. Hopefully Flo goes after starting RB - Fresneda option. Sounds to me like a fantastic refurbish for the long run.

I predict another CL trophy in next 5 seasons easily. In that time maybe you will be able to win Europa League.

Won't flop but think he'll have a tough first season. Will probably improve with time though.

To me he is intelligent, can be quite physical, good on the ball and has great vision for key passes, and a knack for attacking the goal and not shy from taking the shot. I am afraid he will hit the ground and run for Madrid but hope he won't.

Interesting. So is he worth the 100m+ that RM have paid for him?

I meant… English players in Spain…. My bad.
100m does seem steep to me compared to what you're going to get in terms of G/A from him but he is a great player. Doesn't strike me as someone who'd let pressure get to him and would settle okay. Also if it doesn't work out, his reputation from the National team would probably be enough for someone like United to buy him for bigger money a few years down the line.

He quickly became a leader at Dortmund at the age of 17 after one season at Birmingham City. Just always seemed mature beyond is years.

I do agree though most English players tend to be a fish outta water when they play abroad with a handful of exceptions.

Interesting. I hope it works out for him and RM, for a strong RM is good for Barcelona and its ability to compete at the highest level.

I think he's a good player but not a special one.
I think he'll do well but will leave after three years and go back to EPL.
I think he's still a little too young for a club like Madrid. There is night and day between playing for Dortmund and Real Madrid.
