    Sergio Busquets

Another good performance and nice to see him score. :) He seems to have really cut down on the theatrics so far this season too, which is a relief. I can't really recall any 'incidents' involving him lately.

How many Goals will Iniesta score this year?

Past experience says 0-9, so that's what I went with. If he could get 10+ that would be great for him.

    Xavi Hernández

    That picture is love.

    Paul Scholes

Scholes deserves his own thread. Classy player (on and off the pitch). I hope when Xavi reaches 35, he will be playing as well as Scholes is now, at that age. Yep, it's strange how things work out. If we'd have reached the final that year and won, it would have papered over the cracks of a poor...

    Xavi Hernández

The Daily Mail did a write-up on the FIFA World Player gala in 2009, when Ronaldo won, Messi was 2nd and Xavi was in the Top 5. The headline was 'The Best Players of the World (and Xavi)'. Here is said article...

    Xavi Hernández

The 1st half against Arg. underlined just how important Xavi is for Spain. They looked all at sea without him. Couldn't get any rhythm going. Yep, I haven't forgotten that either.

    Rafinha Alcantara

Looking forward to seeing this boy's development. Seems they have good footballing genes in the Alcantara family.

    Bojan Krkic

The number looks good on him. Let's hope he lives up to it.

    3 - Gerard Pique

Although he has shown leadership qualities over the past couple of seasons, I still don't really see Messi as captain material. He's a bit too quiet and mild-mannered. Whereas I think Pique is an obvious choice to succeed Puyol one day.

He's agreed to renew, apparently. The deal just needs to be signed.

    1 - Victor Valdes

Excellent performance and not just with the penalty save but all round. Can't think of one thing he did wrong.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Visiting kids in Haiti: http://twitpic.com/25kj5r Great to see him using his off-time in such a positive way. :)

    3 - Gerard Pique

When in doubt, blame it on Biscuits.

    Andres Iniesta

I think darker hair looks better on his girl. The blonde 'do makes her look older.
