Yan Diomande

Will be a joy to watch how do they want to integrate him, a 140m transfer with Mbappe, Vinicius, Guler and Bellingham. While Guler should be the obvious choice, he's currently their best player. So at some point, Mourinho will put Guler on the #6 out of position just to fit their transfers into the starting lineup.

When Dembele came to Barca he was a really raw prospect who obviously needed to stay healthy to develop.

Well, this cat who might be even older if his age is fake, is even worse and I don't think RM will have the patience to let him develop.

Needs time to develop. Old Mou tactics with a bit of stress ain't that environment though.

Old Mou doesn't even have the energy to fully protest the refereeing decisions any more. Sad.

Yeah, this mf is 25 at least. I mean it's open secret how african agents and clubs do this on an assembly line.

This article is from 2008 and you can imagine how much it skyrocketed in the last decades thanks to the inflation in football:

From US college football to Real Madrid first team in, what, 3-4 years? It's pretty strange

If he was some outrageously talented kid, the next Mbappe, as Tempt tried to tell us here back in the day. I would understand

But so far I'm not seeing it and before I have not seen it. To me he looks one dimensional and very predictable in his dribbles. It's just that he's very fast and he controls the ball well while running, which already takes you a long way

It's fun line to pick on his age, but nothing has been proven and those 2013 theories are beyond stupid with the 2021 Chelsea kit.

Here he is in 2022/23 at that American soccer academy. Looks about his real age.

Well if we're going after that, we'll tolerate and accept 99% of scams in this world

Here is a real photo by the way, no filters, no assisting lightning. I'm 99% sure his age is fake. Guardian talked about Ivory Coast trafficking already 2 decades ago, even his town is mentioned in the article.

Sure, football history is rich of fake DOB African players all over Europe, but the whole story around Diomande comes from pictures circulating the troll/circlejerk communities of social media.

My issue is not with the troll Photoshops, but the physical body transformation in just 2 years. It suggests some steroid use.

Like Adama Traore who claimed to have never bench pressed. Then Nuno Espirito Santo went public banning Traore from fucking bench pressing as it didn't help his footballing career.

I think it's reasonable to assume he's 2-3 years older than what his papers show.

Doubt it's a lot more than that as even the age fudgers know there is a limit to these things

Every big club conducts medical examinations that can determine more or less a player's age.

They cant be 100% certain whether he is 19 or 21 but they know there is no significant discrepancy.

Mouokoko rolled at Dortmund for quite some time everyone thinking he's 16

They classify as a big club and probably have the most modern medical equipment

Sometimes doctors can attribute the physical oddities to something else. And they also can be bribed, by the same agents who got him there. There is many ways you can do this

Ofc the difference can't be that big. He is not 25 or anything like that. In either case a young player. But 19 I doubt it

I told you lads that his dribbling is kind of jerky/choppy and unrefined, raw.

He’s that type of winger that needs to be 100% confident and in his groove to go past players with feints, shoulder drops and micromovements. He is an improvisational type of dribbler. If he doesn’t feel comfortable, he starts overthinking and looks like Bambi on ice, like Dembele on his worst days.

Let’s hope this is another Endrick type of situation.

I think he actually chose the wrong club cause of more wages, cause I feel he would've easily been balling in PSG or even Liverpool as he would've been used often and gotten more team chemistry.

With the few minutes he has, it looks like he tries to do too much to make an impact and force it

I've also been more impressed with Guler there. The kid is a baller and Diomande felt more comfortable in the game where he played in Vini's wing, but that won't happen often except Vini gets injured which is rare or maybe Copa games
