Like I said nobody cares about this shit but it is a good example of how individual awards work. What they really care is to pick someone who will bring them attention and likes. Picking the actual best eleven would be boring.

Olise pretty controversial too. 7 assists but did nothing in games that actually mattered (Spain, Morocco, Paraguay). Missed sitters in the bronze medal game. Olmo had a better campaign overall despite the stats, don't expect them to recognize that though.

Upamecano is a debatable choice, Saliba and Laporte can easily get over him. But it's an understandable choice

Pleased to hear the World Cup is returning to Western Europe after 24 years. It feels nice to have a World Cup in those countries cause it feels like football at its most authentic state.
 
Infantino the bald whoreson finally managed to privatize the WC, selling the rights to investors. A company will oversee it, that he will lead of course. Expected, as he can't do it under FIFA because it's a non profit organization. Open corruption.

In his short time, he already did way more harm to football than Blatter ever could. Gravedigger of football. And everyone just accepts it. Sad times.

I don't doubt your imagination level for one second, considering all the things you have came up with on this forum

It is a level above the capability of a normal human, achieved with some special substances available only to the chosen ones

But in this particural matter, your imagination and enhanced neurological prowess has failed you. This conspiracy theory of yours works under a premise that Argentina was some fantastic side that performed way below their level in the final

The reality leans more towards Argentina being an average side, carried by the GOAT footballer to finals and against weak opposition. Then they met a serious side, that had both more quality and more determination - and what happened was more or less expected

Argentina butchering Spaniards and making them nervous, going to ET but Spain ultimately winning with a goal

Messi put much less effort than in the semi-final. The words he spoke out the locker room are mad sus. Him missing four consecutive free kicks by a meter or more just outside the box with no wall unintentionally is physically impossible and really the only proof needed.
