Actually, the disparity in resources and level across associations is masked heavily by the GOAT and Argentina lol.

Since Brazil's 2002 win, here are the finalists

3 x France
2 x Argentina (led by Messi)
1 x Spain
1 x Italy
1 x Germany
1 x Croatia
1 x Netherlands

So, 8 UEFA sides and the only 2 non-UEFA are Argentina because they have Messi leading the charge

Could very well be a 10-0 sweep by UEFA in this 20 year stretch

It's something FIFA has to try to address as best as possible, pump 2x more money in the other federations as they do in Europe.

No amount of money will make up for what Senegal and Egypt did though lol

As much as I despise the English national football team. I have to say that It’s Coming Home is insanely catchy.

You're still despicable for ever and ever my guy
"Voice of David Attenborough":
Barcaforum.
A place that mainly should be a forum for fans of FC Barcelona to discuss anything related to the club or anything else in football. Rotten, filthy, but still organic and an unfiltered showcase of footballfans. There are fairly any rule enforcers in this wilderenss (except some croatian dude). Racists, Leftists, Ronaldotrolls, Barcahaters all got a place in this wicked space. While in other eco-footballforum-systems you would be banned for hatespeech or disrespecting any sacred cows of the club, here all the mischievious conduct provides a natural balance. Members off the forum will battle each other over pages and pages of a thread, but in the end both sides realize that they need the counterpart which leads to a sometimes unknown catharsis. This is what makes this Barcaforum habitat unique and special. Whatever blooms is allowed to thrive, whenever somebody says there is dung, it's allowed to talk shit in the purest sense of the word. Nature finds it's way (with a little moderation of a croatian dude, but that's neglebtable). So in other words: i love this place and i love u fuckin guys! peace out.

PS: No offense to the croatian dude

I wished Maradona is still alive to witness the man Messi have become. A man who no longer collapse after a disappointing and awful PK and under pipe-busting pressure from home nation and global media. Leo is a warrior now.
He’d cook Messi for those penalties

Must say, it's been an amazing tournament. This WC keeps delivering.
When was the last time WC wasn't good?

There is always drama, always an underdog story and always many of the superstars totally in the spotlight. It's been a "normal" World Cup imo, nothing special so far but worth following, as always.

Yeah, give the third world more money. That will solve the issues   .

Yeah, worked real well by turning entire Middle East in ruins in constant civil war. But at least for that they have sufficient brainpower. There's no point giving money to afro. It will just buy more jeeps and kalashnikovs.

So much brainrot on social media about how the game was supposedly rigged in Argentina's favor.
It's a reminder of how easily opinions can be manipulated and propaganda can spread among people who don't think critically.
In this case, it's just a football match, but we've seen the exact same dynamic play out in politics, elections and many other areas.

Switzerland beat Colombia without one of their man in Mazambi who has 3 goals and 2 assists. He will most likely be back vs Argentina. I hope Argentina does not underestimate this team!

Yakin already said post-match it is unlikely he plays again in WC. Apparently no tear but standard recovery for the contusion makes it improbable for a return in WC

Don't get rattled. Just uninstall social media.

It's mostly filled with bots, call center employees from India (we've got a few here too), ragebait, and 12-year-olds from third-world countries spewing their "opinions".

The only real advantage of platforms like X is that you get instant news, photos, and videos from crisis areas.

Other than that, there will come a time when people look back and wonder what American companies like Meta, Google and the rest actually created that was of lasting value, other than funneling millions of people into digital cesspits and bombarding them with advertisements that generated billions in revenue for a select few.
