At this point France has to be the clear favorite to win this one when you look at their squad. Maybe Mbappe has one more "divide the team" in him though.

Obviously rooting for Argentine and Spain here. Hopefully Lamine gets to o play and most importantly avoids his injury recurring.

France is a good team only on paper. So far they've shown nothing to make us think they are the favourites, unlike Spain and Argentina.

Perennial dark horses Netherlands and Portugal. Dutchies ran Argentina even closer than France did in the final.

Money's on one of Spain, France and Argentina to win it all.

Apart from Portugal, dark horse for me is England. Pragmatic coach and Kane in prime form. If the players can develop/show some real teamspirit, they could go deep this time.
 
How can national teams like Portugal and England, which are among the top 5 teams in terms of player quality, even be considered a "dark horse"? That’s a misunderstood use of the term.
 
Poll does include best teams on paper. My Croatia came 2nd and 3rd in previous editions but don't think we can repeat the podium for for the 3rd time.

Wouldn't mind Brazil or Germany to win it if it's not us. As long as it's not the "French".
 
I'm 95% sure Argentina won't win again. Too basic to think what worked last time will work again. The motivation factor will be decreased and many players are 4 years older, in a negative way.

Spain are undisputed favourites and clearly the best team on paper in terms of both quality and cohesion. Question is if DLF will want to disturb the peace in the XI by bringing in better but 'newer' players like Joan Garcia.

Egos of France will probably destroy themselves.
I'd put England's squad higher if it wasn't for it being.. England.
Portugal have one of the best squads but might be held back by Martinez.
Germany can be dangerous if they can get a hard working and focused squad rather than relying on big names.
Brazil I see no chance of winning.
 
Voted Spain. I'm certain US will reach the semi-finals, courtesy of Donald Trump. Right, Gianni? Right?
