I hate to face him, but overall it should be a positive thing for us. Unless Old man Mou suddenly weaves magic and makes both the primadonnas up front do just a modicum of pressing.
 
It happened at almost exactly the same time - rumors of Rodri to Barca, and reports that Vini contract negotiations took a turn for the better

I'm not saying it happened but it would take me with zero surprise if this was one of conditions for his deal

Mou wanted Vini to stay and he was never really crazy about the Rodri deal... everything fits

If this got revealed in public it would be absolutely hilarious. There is no doubt Rodri is still in his head. He was never the same after ballon d'or fiasco
 
The Square Jaw Vince is great subversive element in this Madrid team for us, especially accompanied with Froggppe. If Rodri is ours, even better. Good news.

I think it's more about the money. Their choice was Vini/Rodri and ours Alvarez/Rodri. We both made our choice.
 
Don't think he spent millions and he does look better.

Shame there's no brain transplant too though.
